Cathy Lehman
Senior Program Officer
Cathy (she/her) is Senior Program Officer managing overall grantmaking for the foundation with a specific focus on the Olympic Peninsula and Washington Coast. She brings over 2 decades of experience advancing systemic change across nonprofit, government and philanthropic sectors, and worked with and for numerous Harder grantees earlier in her career. She holds an MA in Social Entrepreneurship and Change from Pepperdine University, a BA in Communications from Western Washington University, and a Certificate in Sustainable Business from Presidio Graduate School. Cathy lives on Coast Salish land just outside of Bellingham, WA with her husband and their 2 black labs, where she is attempting to create a wildlife refuge and return her lawn to nature.
Tim Stevens
Northern Rockies Program Officer
Tim is Harder’s Northern Rockies Program Officer focusing on grizzly bear connectivity and coexistence efforts in the High Divide. Prior to Harder he was Program Officer for the Kendeda Fund, managing philanthropic portfolios supporting conservation, Indigenous led work and civic engagement in Montana as well as a national portfolio supporting Veterans. Tim came to The Kendeda Fund after 25 years working in the conservation field, including roles with National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA), Greater Yellowstone Coalition, and National Wildlife Federation. Tim graduated from Colorado State University with a BA in Natural Resource Management. He enjoys ‘all things outdoors’, including hunting, mountaineering, skiing and hiking. Tim and his wife Amy raised three children in Livingston, Montana where they still live with their two dogs and the occasional kid.
